In the previous episode of ‘Abigail’s Adventures’, we were engaged in the jaw dropping scandal of Abigail and her seemingly pernicious nature with the notorious serviceman Sinbad, albeit she had unrequited love at the centre of her mission. Flung into the equation was Abigail’s easy going mother and John’s best friend Harry. Five years down the line, we investigate where they are now.
Following the storm that tore their love apart, John was left depressed and broken. However, John found it within himself to recover from this travesty. He promised himself that he would never allow another human being to feel the pain that he did. He started his own business, ‘John’s Binding Bridges (JBB)’, and was commissioned by his local council to build a network of more sturdy bridges between the storm ridden islands, saving countless relationships in the process.
After John’s enterprise, Sinbad saw his reputation amongst the island community seriously deteriorate. Business became slow due to the new bridge system, and Sinbad was excommunicated from the island community. Abigail’s mother decided to throw what little morality she had left straight out the window, and fled the island with the man who has caused so much heartache, Sinbad the Sailor. They left for foreign waters and haven’t been seen since.
John’s best friend, Harry, began to reflect on his violent encounter with John. He realised that he had reacted on emotion rather than logic. He decided that he would make things right with John, and to settle their differences. However, John did not accept his apology, and returned John’s violent act and punched him in the face.
Harry once again revealed his impulsive nature to the audience, and ran off into the sunset with Abigail, his best friend’s ex-girlfriend.
This gripping drama promises to keep its viewers on the edge of their seats in the new season.
I for one, cannot wait. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
